Uploading to ProQuest

After successfully passing the thesis/dissertation defense, students must submit a PDF version of their final document, which includes both signed FORMG15 and FORMG16, to ProQuest.

Administrators will subsequently review the uploaded documents to ensure they meet formatting standards. Candidates will be notified of any discrepancies, and a list detailing the necessary changes will be forwarded to them. After they make the necessary alterations, they can resubmit their papers, which will be reviewed again. Theses/Dissertations will be reviewed each time they are submitted until they conform to the established criteria.

However, if a candidate does not pass their defense, they can arrange for a second attempt after a minimum of 2 months.

As the last step, candidates must file for graduation. The graduation department may only issue certificates if candidates have completed their graduation clearance e-forms. They must obtain clearance from the Finance and Library departments to proceed with their request. The e-Forms required for clearance can be accessed through this link: e-Forms.

Furthermore, graduate students must complete the A.U. Graduate Office Exit Questionnaire, which will be available during the semester in which the student registers as a candidate for graduation.

Finally, graduation certificates can be collected directly from the Graduate School office. Alfaisal University Graduate School mandates that students deposit their thesis/dissertation in both Microsoft Word and PDF digital formats1.
