Graduate students must enroll in Thesis B (9 cr) on NetClassroom in their fourth semester, which is the second semester of the second year. To be eligible to enroll in Thesis B, students must submit a thorough report describing their progress in their thesis work.

Students are expected to finalize and defend their thesis work during this semester. If a student's work is still not finished by the end of their fourth semester, they are permitted to enroll in Thesis C (0 cr), which signifies that their work on their thesis is still ongoing.

As outlined in Article 36, item 5 of the Rules and Regulations for Graduate Studies in Universities, completing a master's degree program usually extends over a minimum of four semesters (or two years) and can take up to eight semesters (or four years).

Master's and doctoral theses must be written in the language of instruction approved for the respective program and determined by the Permanent Committee and the University Council. However, if a thesis or dissertation is crafted in a language other than Arabic, it is imperative to include an Arabic summary. This practice ensures that the research findings remain accessible to a broader academic audience, fostering inclusivity in the university's academic pursuits.
